We train our bodies. We pay attention to what we eat, exercise and schedule rest days. But how much attention do we consciously give to our mental fitness?
Fungki started with microdosing, but the question behind it is bigger: how do you actually train your mind?
During House of Fungki, we’re creating a space around that question for two days. A place to walk in, try something, have conversations, test your focus or simply stay for a while. You don’t need to know anything about microdosing to come. In fact, most of the weekend is about everything around it.
Saturday: TRAIN
Focus. Creativity. Curiosity.
Sunday: RESET
Reflect. Recharge. Restart.
10.00 – 18.00
Saturday is all about activating, trying and discovering. A day centred around focus, creativity and curiosity.
10.00 – 12.00
Start your Saturday at House of Fungki with good coffee, Cacaoii, music and a calm start to your weekend. Simply walk in between 10.00 and 12.00 or claim your free coffee in advance.
Running throughout the day from 10.00 – 18.00
60 seconds. Five colours. How strong is your focus? In front of you is a board with five colour names from the Fungki world: orange, white, light blue, dark blue and grey. The word never matches the colour it is written in. Your task is simple: don’t say what the word says, name the colour you see. You have 60 seconds. Every correct answer earns you one point, every mistake costs you one point. Afterwards, you’ll get your “Mind Score” and find out whether you’ve made it onto the leaderboard of the day.
The challenge is based on the classic Stroop task: a test in which two signals in your brain compete with each other. Reading happens almost automatically, while naming a colour requires conscious attention. Sounds easy, until you try it.
No strict programme that requires you to stay all day. Music, coffee, Cacaoii, conversations, space to discover Fungki and, most importantly: the freedom to walk in whenever it suits you. We may also be joined by a special guest on Saturday for a conversation about mental training. We’ll be sharing more about that soon.
12.00 – 18.00
On Sunday, we consciously do things differently. Fewer stimuli and more slowing down. An afternoon to step out of the rush for a moment and start the week ahead with more calm: Reflect. Recharge. Restart.
Cacao, space to sit, good conversations and our Sunday Mental Health Talk.
13.00 – 14.00
How do you make sure you don’t already start Monday exhausted? An open conversation about mental health, stress, boundaries, attention and how to be more conscious of your own mental energy. We offer practical insights, honest questions and space to ask anything you want to know. Questions about microdosing are welcome too. The talk is free, guided by psychologist Annick, but the number of places is limited.
